Wood carving Center

This center is on the way to Kanchanaburi and many of the tour operators take visitors there. Woodcarving is one of the ancient arts of the Thai people and is still carried on here by hand. The woodcarvers produce all kinds of artifacts and can be seen carving elephants and boxes small and large. There is an exhibition of products which shows items from various periods and intricate designs.
